Who we are
The Gathering Ground CIC (“we”, “us”) is a Community Interest Company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 16685933). We are the data controller for the personal data we collect through this website.
What data we collect
When you visit gatheringgroundcic.co.uk, our web host (Vercel) processes basic request information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. This is used only to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
If you contact us directly by email (for example, hello@gatheringgroundcic.co.uk), we receive the email address you send from and any information you choose to include in your message.
If you donate to us or enter a raffle or ticketing flow, that transaction is processed by our partner Zeffy. Zeffy collects the information needed to process your donation and is the data controller for that information. Please see the Zeffy privacy policy for details.
Our lawful basis
We rely on legitimate interests for the basic server logs needed to operate the site, and consent (your choice to contact us) when you email us directly.
How long we keep your data
Emails you send us are kept only as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and maintain a record of our correspondence. Server logs are retained for a short period by our web host for operational and security purposes.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers we rely on to run this site and our operations:
- Vercel — web hosting
- Zeffy — donation and ticketing platform
- Email providers — to send and receive emails with you
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@gatheringgroundcic.co.uk.
